growing up

It's recess week alr. That's like super fast yea. I was overwhelmed by the amount of workload when i was on the way home, thinking about the deadlines ahead. Seriously, i regretted spending time not doing productive work for past 3 days. Now it's all piling up on me.

I really can't imagine that very soon, i will be working. Waking up early in the morning and joining in the morning rush and squeezing the train to get back home. I haven't had enough fun. And, i need more time to "enjoy"  studying, to pull up my cap. But all's passing too fast, way too fast. I feel the pressure to grow up fast, to get out of my comfort zone. Whatever seems tough to me in school now probably are just a tiny little part of what i am gonna face at work in future. Am i really up to the challenge yet? Well, even if im not, i have to. Sometimes i just wished i could be more witty, smarter, more outspoken, more confident, multi-lingual, more decisive and whatsoever. I guess we just have to learn to be contented with what we have. That's the problem with humans, isnt it?

Well, I went for my very first formal interview yesterday. Totally caught unprepared as I thought the consultant called me down to help me get a job. So I headed down after lunch with his family, in a super relaxed mood, without much preparations (or none at all in fact), in my formal attire.
until the moment when the person whom I met at the career fair asked me to tell him about myself then i realised i was down for an interview to be a consultant.

Surprisingly, all went well for the 1st three people who interviewed me. I was super tired from being cooped up in a small room, facing 4 walls and uncertainties about how many more people will be interviewing me, when will they be coming in and what questions would they ask. I wasited for almost an hour for the last interviewer. It was seriously a boring and tiring wait. After everything, i was totally drained and my mind was in a mess. I felt so helpless when i knew i totally screwed up halfway through the last round.

Well, i guess this is just a very good learning experience for me. So that i know have a hang of how and what to do during interviews. I hope there will be more interviews for me to ace in and not screw up like my first one.

I need to be happier. To be happier, i need to be smarter. I am not born smart. I need to work 10000 times harder than other people and i know that. Acha fighting! :)

Happy new year from Ba Li, Taiwan county!

First post of 2012!
Experienced my first countdown concert ever (because i don't even go for countdown party in Singapore!) at Taipei 101!
Greatest pull factor: SHOW LUO ZHI XIANG! but sadly, i had to give up my super good position which i finally managed to get after being pushed from left, right, front, back plus a fall which left me with a bruise, because i felt so dehydrated and i was afraid i might just faint amidst the crowd. Started queuing at 4plus with Daniel & Family, Jessica and another friend and i had to leave the good spot at 9plus when Show Luo was coming out only past 1130pm :( Greatest regret for not being able to hold it till the very end because it was totally like a mini concert! he danced alot and sang quite a few songs. But the key is, though i managed to hear it live but i was looking at the screen, i could hardly see him in real person! :( Nevermind, i shall really go for his concert when he comes Singapore again! :)
It was madness but it was great with Dan with me if not i probably be trampled on when i fell. haha. It was a great eye opener and a memorable (notice i didnt say good) experience. I don't think i will go for such countdown again unless there are reasons for me to. HAHA!

Today is 2 January 2012 but here in Taiwan, we don't have holiday :(
So back in school we are, supposed to do up a reflection/video for the lessons we conducted so far.
And suddenly, i felt these 6 weeks passed real fast though it seemed slow in the beginning.
Got me emotional again! haha.
okay, shall continue with more when i have time.
Gotta pack up to go Luzhou soon!
Missing Singapore! :D

just want to be by your side.

Sometimes i don't know why when i actually want to go over and meet you but i just said no instead.
Especially just now when you told me abt your internship, i felt glad that you actually called me to discuss it, though i don't know and i prolly didn't give you good enough advice.
But, i really wanted to just be there for you.
Yet, the thot of you telling me that you want to focus on your revision earlier on made me said No instead of Yes when you asked if i was still going over.
Why oh why~

Anyway, im super duper stressed now.
Freaking money and banking is killing all my brain cells and taking up my time for Labour! :(
Super worried, really :(
tell me how to finish studying.
tiny brain, why you no grow bigger?! :/

Im freaking pissed off with the poor service of the Villa International.
Can't you be more responsible and call us back when you promised?
Seriously poor service.

I hope we are still able to go for the trip together because i don't want you to feel even more pek cek
Whats more, we will be separated for so long.
I can't imagine what's ahead...
Im just trying to keep the Faith.
May things work out well! :)

[KTV Tube] 卓文萱-被你愛過我很快樂

confused.

Why is it that things always turn out different from what i expect?
I didn't expect this programme to be so "solo".
I actually don't really feel keen to go for it anymore after the interview because i feel it's seriously too intimidating..
Wasn't there supposed to be a homestay? why has it turned out to be a dormitory, which means i have to stay alone in a room for 6 weeks? Without even a friend to accompany me and help each other. My gosh.
It's really wayyyyyy out of my comfort zone. If you ask me to do this in Singapore, i also scared ehh. which is exactly why i didnt apply for a single room in hall right? :(
Plus, it's actually me one person who is gonna help the teacher and not with the other exchange students! I don't even want to be a teacher. =.=
You know, sometimes i really think that it'd be a great training and experience for me but i guess, this is too extremely different from what i expected.
All the possible (negative) things that might happen swarm into my mind.
Is it just me who has to be more positive? but one would always have to be prepared for the worst case scenario, no?
Gosh, someone tell me what to do! :(
