just feel like-

have been working for 6th day yesterday. supposedly my last day but im really glad they allowed me to stay till next friday.
i skipped work on chu san.

but i love my current work and working environment cos it's interesting and an eye opener.
it's like,my colleagues there will b experienced enough to give me precious advices.
really precious.
got to speak to the manager yesterday.really appreciated what he shared with me (:

anw ya,yesterday was FRIDAY! which is 50% off for the cakes/brownies/pastries from secret recipe after 4pm. my colleague Jennifer set alarm to remind ourselves to go queue up at 3.45pm! HAHA! and Christine and mdm Lim joined us too.
1person is limited to 4 orders.
so i got 1 for mummy,1 for susan,1 for wanching and 1 for myself! hee :D
there was a LONG QUEUE!
something happened which freaked my colleague out!
we were queuing then this lady suddenly came over and asked my colleague,"hey! ur hair is longer le! u extend it? u look so sweet now! ehh buy me a cake lar? haha~" i thot she's a patient my colleague came across before but NO! she doesnt even noe her..she kept "sayanging" her. haha=.=''' she came 2times. lol.
anw im pretty lucky cos there was only 1 left for the choc banana susan wanted and choc strawberry i wanted. lols.
i felt like a santa clause going up to the HR dept to deliver susan the cake with Jennifer. LOL. we were thinking the HR ppl may think we are damn free uh? HAHA!

hmm. nth to do today. children running in my house playing hide-n-seek and virus~ u noe the one where u put a twiss and u wun get the virus? LOL.

MOO~

HAPPY MOO MOO YEAR! (:
hahaha.

it's a different cny this year i guess.
went to pay respects to my grandpa in the late morning on cny eve.
my little cousin was there too. he's sooooo cute!! i think his parents didnt comb his hair cos his hair was standing up. he's really small size for his age. he's like P1 this year! and i got another cousin who's also P1 this year. when she stands beside him,it's like he's really really small. haha! but he's cute!
but i could hardly get what he's trying to tell me when we were going down the stairs. it was soft and muffled. haha.
went to meet susan at chong pang to get her shoes for CNY! wanted to get leggings too but the one we got was like TOO thin and ya,it's not v nice ya? haha.
after getting her shoes which i personally really liked,we walked to northpoint.
then we saw this addidas bag!! there's white-gold and black-grey combi. (can see susan's blog for the latter) i contemplated for v long but didnt get it in the end. sus got the black-grey combi. haha.

then i headed home for reunion dinner. as usual,steamboat but this year we got a steamboat with hot grill! and the whole house was so oily. HAHA! eve's night was not v pleasant. shall not go into the details.

1st day of cny was pretty fine..met lotsa ppl at my relative's house. 1st time i talked to my mum's aunt's son's wife. ya. i duno how to address her in eng. but anw,she's really nice! felt comfortale talking to her. she told me abt uni courses. pretty cool. she took sports management masters! (: so much details to go into. but it was a nice time there! a MUST-GO every year. i guess when u are older they can have more things to share w u? haha.
after that just rotted at the kitchen till we moved on to another place.
wasnt feeling v well then.like my limbs were going soft and im in cold sweat and felt really nauseous. that was like when we left the place fortunately.
for goodness sake,i vomitted on the way to the car. like OH-MAN! was really indescribably uncomfortable. so came home to rest before heading to my grandma's house. :(
and becos of this i missed a few ang baos at another place we were abt to go!!
after washing up and resting for a while,sis bf came and we headed down to my grandma's hse. we 3 fell asleep on the way. hahas.
stayed till ard 11plus over at my uncle's hse where my cousins and uncles played poker. LOL.
as usual..hahaha.
i quite like CNY still though every year is almost the same. but it's also like only once a year then we get to meet up like the whole family and catch up. (:

today...i decided not to cancel my leave and stay home with my parents.
and go shopping ltr. HAHA!
tmr gotta start work le..but i dun dread it cos it's pretty fine(:
alright,i cant wait for saturday and sunday! cos there'll b visitors at my house!

tra la la~

got a 2weeks job at IMH finance dept. thanks susan! (:
been working for the past 4days.
hmm,generally okay..nice boss,nice colleagues. they are quite funny too. i guess w/o tem,it'd b such a tense atmosphere! LOL.
its been so long since i last woke up at 6am and have to face the comp for so long starting from the morning. tried hard to keep my eyes and mind open. hee.
late on the 3rd day of work!!! cos of the traffic jam. i was like -.-'''
then the 4th day i decided to take the earlier bus. reached there like so early! but early better than late lar. hee.

fell sick. sore throat+flu+slight fever.
managed to tahan until work ended but i had MANY toilet trips cos i drank too much water and it was cold in the office! i think the boss mgt think im such a slacker. HAHA! =X
went for dinner with susan then i went to see a doctor. he gave me a MC and i was praying hard i can go work the next day! cos i wanna take leave on chu san. if dun go work ytd,my 2 working days gone. so yup,felt better and off to work!

bought a slice of carrot cake from secret recipe during lunch break. half price for staff. haha
not bad,quite nice.
hmm.ytd the office was kinda happening? lols. but i duno what was happening. mayb they too excited for the 4days break! hee.
i was buried in the pile of documents. it was so messy i couldnt take it!
so arranged my table and sorted them according to alphabets nicely.
it was tideous~~
hope i can start keying in the data on thurs! OH MAN.
im contemplating whether to work on chu san or on leave.
auntie told me ltr boss dun wanna pay me cos i said i wanted to go on leave. HAHA!

updates! (:

hello.
back for updates.cos im so darn free.
splurging should stop. which means no more even window shopping. time for a HALT!
i felt yet another big hole in my pocket ytd. i really cant stand myself sometimes.
best way,no shopping,no trying,no temptation,no splurging,no big hole in pocket,no regrets.
im SO contributing to Singapore's economy.
oh well~

FRIDAY
met up with liqian for lunch at amk hub's pepper lunch.
after which,she brought me to see the tops she saw in hub.
and i went to this shop which tempted me to buY bUY BUY! x/
hmm. at ard 2.30pm we left cos liqian gotta go to work. she introduced her colleague to me who is from AJ. saw her before but nvr talked to her before.
after talking for awhile,it was close to 3pm. so i pulled liqian to meet wanching.
hee.

yes,im climbing out of my hole and met wanching to go gai gai.
so long nvr wear nice nice le. ohh,but we didnt take a photo! LOL-.-
went bugis again! to find a pair of suitable shoes which ended up to b a top instead. 10bucks.
oh yes! we went to this hong kong cafe at the 2nd level of bugis street. ordered ice milk tea float and onion rings. it was really ONION. lols.
and then i saw my cousin who was walking w his friends. so coincidental!
after our "high tea",we went ard again..and bumped into my cousin again. surprised.
and his friend was like,"who's that?ur sis ah?" in my mind,i was like WHAT? am i tt old? jeez.
and previously one of the shopkeeper asked if wanching's my sis,so when she heard that,she was like,"huh! we got so old mehh?" too. LOL.
my cousin was unexpectedly friendly ehh. cos we havent talked for many many yrs i guess. HA!
and amazingly,we even met on the way to the restroom. haha.
okay,summary:
-i met my sec sch tuition friend working in 77th street
-this girl from 30/07 whom i just realised she transferred sch
-and my cousin
on the same day.

SINGAPORE's REALLY SMALL~
but i had a great day other than the annoying news we got.
okay,i dun wanna talk abt it.

SATURDAY
shopped w mum after her haircut/treatment/bla bla at amk hub.
only had lunch at 3pm close to 4.
was supposed to meet sis at orchard but she called to say she's got accompany. so we didnt have to go but we eventually ended in orchard in search for a pair of matching shoes.
but i must so say that i hate to look for shoes. so troublesome!
but i cant reject the temptation from clothings.
had a bad day cos simply too many things that pissed me off.
wrong things at the wrong time then. or mayb right things at the wrong time uh?
i was in a terrible mood that day..somehow.
dun feel like continuing for saturday~

SUNDAY
mum cooked kway tiao today.my favourite!
yummy & filling (:

after lunch,went to khatib with mum to find the hot pot cum bbq grill.
eventually we got the one from NTUC which was a great deal!
then went to check out the location of the bookstore which im still thinking if i shd work there cos the pay's REALLY low. =x
after which,headed to sun plaza to see FELICIA CHIN since its SO near! hees.
she's pretty. it was a crazy day today.

after that went to meet susan for JOG!
yea man. we met our target! we didnt give up! tt's the adv when u have a partner to run with u (:
felt a sense of achievement~
afterwhich was dinner and walk home!
love jogging w you! cos we will motivate each other :D
oh yes,met my parents and "shopped" ard amk for cny stuff.
tt's why im still online at this time on a sunday.

rahhhhhhs big time

so much so for all the plans i had.
all ruined.RUINED.
cos i need cash.
langkawi & Taiwan trip.
the girls are gonna book the langkawi trip this sunday.
but given that i have to pay all my expenses for the trip myself given the financial status i am in now,i seriously duno if i can go. plusssss,results will be out in MARCH. so taiwan trip has to be in feb. it has been planned even before A's to go Taiwan before release of results. it's my wish. my dream. what i've been longing for!
i thot i would be able to go cos i'd have some income by then. but up till now, im income-less.
i know langkawi trip would definitely be fun with the girls,trying out new things that we havent tried before. and i so wanna try banana-boating!
and taiwan taiwan taiwan! i've been yearning to go since 2yrs ago? can't remember.but i wanna gooooooooo :(
now that im so cash-strapped,i wonder what im supposed to do.
im still waiting. its like a test of my patience can? i really hate this.
any really really temp jobs like sales asst for CNY goodies? nvr tried before. but now it's only 10days to CNY,would anyone still wanna hire? sighs.

this is definitely NOT the life i wanted after A's. BIG NO NO.
if only my piano is at some really impressive level/am taking my diploma now,i'd have gone to teach piano for good. too bad,im not.

sorry for all these ramblings here.
my life is so not exciting now.
nth for me to look forward to.
i wanna pick up a new skill...but it's $$$.
anyone got any ideas what is a costless or low cost skill i can learn?

ahwell,i headed to woodlands library after lunch with mum today.
just thot i shd get some books to kill time and feed this little brain of mine some knowledge.
but i ended up reading books on handicrafts,singing and musical instruments at the ref section.
and borrowed 4books,2 of which is TAIWAN TRAVEL GUIDE. found it finally. could not find any at semb lib the other time.
feels great going to the lib to borrow books and not for revision/schoolwork.

after that just walked ard causeway point and rushed back to watch yu le bai fen bai instead of going to ssc.heh.
supposed to be mopping floor but had this urge to listen to the song above which i just got from susan ytd.

baking is fun (:

i baked cookies with wanching today! (:

hmm...actually i duno is cookies or biscuits.

baoren just told me, "biscuits are salty,cookies are sweet. and biscuits are more crispy too."

but...i still duno which is it considered.

hmm...biscuits? haha.

anw,we baked at my hse today!

got the ingredients from NTUC. simple and easy ingredients!

had lunch and home we came to get our hands working!

i took a long time to get a bowl really big enuff to fit 1kg of flour though.

we knead and knead and knead the dough..somehow,they dun seem to co-operate uh.
then we thot,maybe is not enuff butter.

but while i got to the refrigerator,wanching suddenly remembered. she was like,"OH!! wo zhi dao wei shen me le! E-G-G-S!" and both of us burst into laughter for our blur-ness. LOL! xD

it was damn funny. guess we would have to keep kneading for another hr or so without the eggs and even then,we cant get it done! HAHA!

we made many many shapes! so cute.

1st 2 batches was kinda not-golden brown and they grew so big and tall!

compared to the subsequent batches,the 1st 2 werent as yummy and appealing.

but still edible lar. duh? (:

it was so fun baking and making a mess trying to get the dough properly done. wahaha.

so egg-citing to see the results of our hardwork. wahaha.

and it took me 8hrs+ to like finish baking the 1kg of cookies/biscuits! HAHA.

my sis bf tried 1 but he said it's not sweet enuff for choc chip cookies. mayb cos we used semi-sweet choc chips? but it's healthier! :D

and it's NOT milo powder! it's HERSHEY's SEMI-SWEET CHOC CHIPS!

the cost is alr so diff ehh. wahaha.

YIPPEE!!!

it was a FIRST TIMES DAY(:
1st time signing up for the basic theory test (duh?)
1st time dyeing my hair
1st time seeing felicia chin in real person
1st time walking from bugis to far east[just to save transport fare]
hmm...what else? shd b all..
i had a great day cos of the 4 campus superstar hosts.
they brought laughter to make my day!
shopped too. got a shirt of the colour i dun have,and a belt like finally.(:
walked alot. so much so that i had to ask my mum to bring my sandals for me to change cos the flats i was wearing isnt ideal for too much walking. lols.
reached home at 12.30am. bathed,onlined awhile and slept. (:

ah well. im just passing day by day with no income AT ALL.
darn ehem* make us wait for so darn long can.
my emotions went like this[from interview till now]:
nervous--doubtful--overjoyed--happy--worried--a LITTLE relieved--impatient--pissed--annoyed--chao ji bu shuang. GRRRR.
u noe im so sick of these NO-INCOME-DAYS and DUNO-WHAT-TO-DO days.
and i have to scrimp and save so that my daily allowances can get me by;
walk instead of taking public transport as far as i can since it's now Beep x1 instead of Beep x2,and one beep=$1+ [okay,i noe i sound really calculative];
and i havent been to anywhere further than yishun these few days.

ah well. u may say it's up to ME to make/plan my day.
YES,i know. but there's a limit to what u can do when u dun have enuff money. >.< seriously,i think im passing days and getting the days mixed up. terrible. many are alr working when they get a job much later than me. sadded. and im like so loner now. solo lar.
lazy worm is multiplying!!
lazy to think of what to wear,lazy to travel far,lazy to talk much with my MOUTH bla bla bla.
till the day before,i decided to take the basic theory test(BTT) soon.
so i got sth to do--STUDY for BTT. going to register tmr (:

and i was so bored i walked to sembawang shopping centre and after eating,i spent 1hr in DAISO. interesting stuff there :D
and,mummy must have been so happy i did housework for her.
and i cooked and discovered a new simple yet tasty dish. GREAT! (:
and i did some light exercises i read from Seventeen. BRILLIANT (:
and i tried out the new piano pieces. MORE TO GO,practise hard bahh.

im glad tmr im going to trim my hair. thanks to dad for the $$ after a long wait though =X
and going shopping with susan. and get my belt like FINALLY. oh well,this is a good deal de. HAHA.
when can i say i FINALLY am starting work? boos>.<

i love him <3

watched yu le bai fen bai yesterday.
it's xiao zhu accompanying one of his fan who's down with an illness called
zi zui xiao nao wei suo zhen
if im not wrong.
and she's only 17 :(

they were going on a "date"
and it's the girl's wish to meet her idol.
i guess this chance of meeting him really brightened her life alot :)
xiao zhu is like so wonderfully nice and caring towards his fans.
and he was really sweet and ti tie! not forgetting to 搞笑 as usual.
awwwww... hahas.

it's like a rare opportunity for an idol so busy like him to fork out a time to accompany his fan and fulfill her wish.
i think the girl has faced alot of negative comments when the public knew that she'd be meeting xiao zhu,which i totally agree with xiao zhu and xiao gui that it's really insensitive and childish to put across those comments just cos u are jealous or whatever.
oh well. that's human nature i guess,but hopefully those people have come to their senses (:

im back to update.SEEMed long since i last updated. lols.

anw,was packing up my little drawer yesterday noon before i went out to meet yoke kuan for our LONG WALK (:

met at YTSS gate and walked for ard 3km in 1hr,ending at the traffic light opposite GV.

had a great time exercising and catching up,chatting and laughing.

walked past several places where we used to run 2.4km back in secondary school days....

ohh..those memories(:

after that i walked to chong pang to meet my parents for dinner.

ya,i was walking ard PART of yishun lar.

when i was reaching chong pang,received a sms from yk saying it's drizzling.

but i was more afraid it'd rain birds'/crows' droppings cos i was walking the long path w/o any shelter but trees everywhere above my head.-.-'''

and to ESTHER! u noe it's like SOOO coincidental lar.

when we got into the car and were abt to leave,there was a car infront of us.

then i saw the auntie in the car in the passenger seat like very familiar!!

guess what, i realised it's your mum! lols!! no wonder so familiar!:DD

were u in the car then?? ard......9plus. hahahas.

yep. and back home to watch campus superstar.

when i saw it,just reminds me of the days we had to go back to school on saturdays for colours,and helping juniors tie the scarf..polishing badges the night before..so afraid that i cannot tahan the long standings under the bright mr. sun..and..getting up early just to tie plaits and stuff..also! how we were "chased away" by ms goh after trainings cos she doesnt want us to loiter ard in sch. hahas.

tough yet fun and memorable days.

i miss those days in sec sch and in guides :D

and i found out why im so in love with accessories like watches and rings...

SAY HELLO 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR world!

say hello to 2009 and wave goodbye to 2008.
keep in mind the lessons learnt,forget the unhappiness.

2008 has been a tough year,with the worries and tears over academics

and the big headache--A levels.

times where i even suspected if im in depression. lols.

but still,at least there were friends who urged me on and kept me going when i felt like giving up.

and teachers who cared and offered help.

and family and people around me who kept that faith in me even in times when i doubted my own abilities.

so i wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to all those who helped me in one way or another.(:
let's hope that 2009 will be a great year despite the economy's downturn.haha.

work smart, play hard. key to happiness is BALANCE and OPTIMISMsomething i really gotta recover. i guess we all gotta be busy with our own work before and after we get results.
it's all up to us to make an effort to meet up and keep in touch with one another and keep our friendships going.

i really fear my results. but oh well,all's done. i just hope for the best.

lunched at AZABO SABU[i think so] after trying to find a nice and value-for-money meal on our last day of STUDENT FARE/PRICE. LOL=x

the seafood yaki is niceeeeee.

after that the girls went bowling. i didnt bowl cos i bowl = waste $$$
but i guess lady luck's w me ytd. cos i hit everything twice when i just helped xiqing and ivy to hit sth since they havent played b4 and the score was 0 at the start. LOL.
it was lucky(: even i got a shock.=x

after which,we went to walk around,in search of a nice scenery to take photos.
then we walked past the Kenko fish spa.
saw a lady's leg w ALOT of the fish till it looked kinda, disgusting.=x

then we walked to the esplanade only to take a pic and they left for orchard to sign some contract for work while i left to bugis to meet ying hui to get jiyuan's present.

i think the present is really nice and what she likes--FLOWERY design! sounds like "ERM?" right?but trust me,it's elegant and NOT opiang lar. ANNA SUI de lehs..hahaha.

okay,then went back to city hall to meet my co peeps again after shopping and having dinner at bugis w ying hui.
was having a headache then but well,just wanna kpo see see what's it that attracts ppl there.
but didnt stay v long cos it's VERY crowded and we were all tired and perspiring like mad.

today's the 1st day of 2009 and also jiyuan's birthday!

met mk,mh,wc,yh at bishan to personalise the cake and write our msgs.

they had lunch at The Cafe Cartel while i had mine at ying hui's hse cos i brought my mum prepared de food.

took bus plus a little long walk to ying hui's hse.

they played mahjong while i eat&watch as they teach mk and jy too.

then uno stacko,followed by twister.

finally i got to play twister. hahahas.thanks to mk.(:

then amk gotta leave. so we brought out the cake and present for jy.amk is such a spoiler. no surprise for jy in the end lar! LOL.but nvm.she likes the gift(:

then we played 21. i played in a blur state of mind cos i duno how to play poker de. hardly play lar. and i won quite alot bahh. HAHA. but i cannot b banker la! ltr they all cheat my money.LOL

played and left at ard 5pm w jy and mh. cos gotta b home for dinner and wanted to buy sth.

oh well,had fun with missed jiyuan! and peers. but i still cant play mahjong and poker well. wahaha.
