hello.
thank goodness sis bf lent me his lappy. kinda surprised cos i didnt expect to have a lappy to use temporarily. if i have a sibling who's so nice jiu hao le.
hoho^^
and that's why i can still update my blog when my comp is throwing some 'tantrums'!THANKS SO MUCH! have been rather bored w/o a comp to use.
esp. when i have no job for the past week and the thot of A's results coming out.
ARGH. it's really terrible. just hearing/seeing A-L-E-V-E-L-'-S makes me sian whole day.
anw,i have been tutoring for 3 hrs per day for 4 consecutive days.
one word- tiring.
and today had to teach PHYSICS!
didnt want to cos im not very good in it! those who knows me well enuff shd noe bahh D:
so today was kinda torturous for me =X
but still, i made it thru. hooray!
work's finally starting on tues.

the many many--
SIGH.
my PC broke down on thursday.
havent had time to go get a new one..
so i have been living without my comp these days...
perhaps it helped me to stay more focused for BTT?
NO! im so dead=x
really lost the "interest" to sit down and study
after not touching books for so darn long.
today by hook or by crook i gotta study lar.cos its tmr-.-
and for today,i forgo the potential $30 after much contemplation.

okay,so yup,anw. UPDATES!
friday met up with wanching to get our watch!
but end up,only wanching got hers.
cos the addidas watch i wanted was too sporty
and not easy to go with my usual casual clothes.
wanching's watch is really nice:)
almost got that too!
but i wanted to check out another one which was not available in the shop.
so far the cheapest i saw for the BABY G watch i REALLY WANT! is $109.. :(
im kinda broke now. shall add tt into my wish list.

we were supposed to meet shimin and liping for dinner
but sm was too tired after work.

we were exploring bugis to find Miss Clarity Cafe
and unknowingly we were at
the MINT CAFE:MUSEUM of TOYS!
so qiao lar! i was thinking of going there but duno how to go.

and with the aid of the map at the back of the brochure given,we found miss Clarity Cafe!

the food there were YUMMY.really nice. but we had a packet of ice teh/barley earlier on.

and it fell down onto the floor immediately.
i was imagining the stars above its head.
haha! we kinda laugh quite long lar.

SATURDAY
was Valentine's day.
spent my valentines day at NTU talk.
i really am in doubt[results]
but I REALLY REALLY WANT TO GET INTO
1. NTU business - cos that's the only local uni with TOURISM & HOSPITALITY MGMT!
OR
2.Sport Science & Management
but well,results are alr determined but yet known.
i cant turn back the clock and work harder.
srsly intimidating!
NTU biz usu accepts students w AAAB or AAAA for their double degree.

alright. talk abt the more happier stuff.
mum and i went down for CTC holidays & Chan Brothers & Dynasty Travel fairs on sunday.
met shat yin who was also there to check out the price for herself and lily initially.
we were all planning to go to TAIWAN!
ended up,we signed up for the same tour and same date.
and a total of 6 of us are going!
HOHO^^
it was a great deal lar.
really glad we didnt give up waiting!
got our queue no. at 4.30pm.
waited for 200PLUS ppl before us..
at ard 6pm only a mere 10 to 20odd nos. passed.
looking at the time,our chances were really slim.
and we felt like leaving for fear that we're waiting for nth
however,till the back,many left.
so the nos. kept jumping:D
lily came to join us in the wait.
ended up we waited till like 8plus for our no. to be called!
and we left at 10pm where the agency were alr more or less done with their packing.
it was a long but worth waiting deal!
esp. for ppl like me.no income now
my 2weeks pay is gone after the deposit-.-
work work!:)

it was --
denise was a brave girl today.
trained down to woodlands early in the morning at 7am
to find out the fastest bus to get her to changi airport/tampines
so that she can train 2 stops to Tanah Merah MRT station.
just nice 858 came when she was enquiring.
but she could have been smarter or more street-wise to have waited for the bus at YISHUN.
so she ended up detouring for half an hr.
couldnt get to tanah merah before 8am as instructed.
she called the interviewer and
he says,"where are u now?"
denise says,"Changi airport. do i still need to train to tanah merah? or there's a bus available here too?"
he says,"oh then i think u have to take a cab in."
denise replied," huh! cab in will be so expensive!"
he says,"no choice,i told u if u wanna meet me u gotta reach tanah merah before 8am."
denise asked,"no other forms of transportation?i thot u said the bus is available before 9am?"
he says,"but i can't guide u in alr. i've many things to handle."
so? she had a hard time deciding whether to continue w plan for the interview.
fickle-minded her could not make up her mind
and loitered around Changi Airport T3 early in the morning at 8.30am.
desperately,she gave wanching a wake-up call. [im sorry!]
and she ended up going for it!
she intended to train to tanah merah but alighted at Expo cos she saw the company's name ***
so she cabbed from there thinking it'd b nearer than from tanah merah?
she didnt dare to walk in cos it was kinda ulu and she was alone.
flagged a cab at the taxi stand near MRT not expo de.
hopped onto the cab v uncomfortably.
driver drove into a very ulu road.
seems scary. but there were aeroplanes taking off and a few cars in front.
asked quite a few qns. taxi driver thot denise isnt a local! *laughs
finally she reached the destination.
looked at the meter,$9.90 ! ! ! for the 10mins ride!?!?!
okay, nvm. she alighted and walked in. it's a weird place.
many factories/warehouse. uncomfortable!
took the stairs,reached the door,FINALLY.
thanks for letting me experience the travelling distance and MY TRANSPORT FARE!
more than enuff for me to get the LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE SHIRT from BOSSINI ytd!

worse. after everything,she had to walk out to the bus stop which she didnt really get what the man was saying.
fortunately denise has some sense of direction.
saw the bus a distance away from the bus stop. she was told not to bother abt the bus stops?!?!
so she walked to the bus.
was the ONLY passenger.
uncle was quite friendly. and he knew she was there for interview.
how smart. taught her how to get in here and stuff like that.
finally,she alighted at the bus stop and took bus 19 to tampines int.
finally a more familiar place.
feels so much more comfortable.
but she doesnt have enuff money for proper lunch thanks to the cab fare!

cos im leaving on friday and they arent free on friday lunch time.

yes,yesterday was friday (6 Feb 2009)
no more extension :((
i was really sadd to leave but i didnt really show at the office lar.
but i really really appreciated boss's, jennifer's and christine's help to request for extension too.
i enjoyed my time working there as a temp staff.
learning many things and all the advices given.
a BIG THANK YOU to all those who guided me in a way or another!
esp. my boss damien! and jolly who's in charged of temp staff.

was kinda relieved that im able to work within my plans initially.
cos i could have had 1 day for 1 file!
suddenly,somehow,all of a sudden,
e v e r y t h i n g w a s m e s s e d u p ! ! !
like @#%&!#!%$ !!!
it was really ridiculous. those that i keyed in alr were lost.
the more i checked, the more gek i was/am. =x
it feels like my days of hard work and overtime has just gone down the drain.
even worse IF they dun count my hours after 6pm
i hope they count!
